There are some hardware buttons that Jasjam users are not normally aware. These buttons are also same for other devices mentioned which are Jasjam alike .Have a look at them ,they will come handy
Cycle through mail accounts
If you keep on pressing the Envelope (messaging) hardware button it cycles the Outlook Mail, Text messages, Hotmail, MMS accounts. Really nice since you do not need to hit the menu button. Pressing left/Right on the d-pad does this too.
Screen alignment
For all the Jasjam users having the alignment issues, the D-Pad and messaging key combo goes straight to screen calibration tool.Press the D-Pad first follow by Messaging key.
Scrolling Contacts without Stylus
When in 'Contacts' hold down ‘down’ on the dpad. It'll start scrolling the list for approx 5 seconds, then a 'pop up window' appears with a large letter A. Use the dpad to select appropriate contact start letter. Makes it easier to scroll through the contacts without having to get the stylus out. Unfortunately, if you have a large number of contacts, you can never hold down the scroll button to get to the end of your particular letter. Not so nice. :/
Slick One-Handed Navigation on the Today Screen
Using the OK button directly below the Scroll Wheel while on the Today Screen will open the Start Menu. This makes it extremely easy to navigate and launch applications with just your thumb -- press OK, Scroll, and Scroll-click to select!
Jump to the Today screen.
When in any app, you can press the start hardware button twice to take you back to the today screen. The Call Hangup button also performs this task. But watch out during a call since it will end your call instead of taking you to the today screen!
Silence an incoming call.
When you have an incoming call and don't want to answer it and the ringing annoys you, scroll the side wheel down. This lets the incoming call continue but mutes the ringtone. . This may not work with third-party ringtone apps
Recent phone calls list with scroll wheel.
In the phone application, click Up or Right on the D-pad OR scroll up with the scroll wheel. Select a call with the scroll wheel and click the wheel in to dial that number.
Speed dial shortcut.
In the phone application, click Down or Left on the D-pad OR scroll down with the scroll wheel. Select a call with the scroll wheel and click the wheel in to dial that number.
Disconnect from GPRS.
When you have a GPRS connection, press and hold the red phone button for two seconds.
Transfer call sound to speaker
When in answering or in a call hold down the green phone button for a few seconds and sound will be transfered to the external speaker.
Shut down device completely
When the phone is on, press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds, until a message pops up "Power will be turned off... Do you want to continue?". Click Yes to shut down the phone.
Silence the phone volume
Press and hold the comm manager button for 2 seconds and the phone sounds and ringer volume will be set to vibrate. Repeat process to turn sounds back on. UPDATE: if the above method does not work for you, try to scroll the jog button down.
